OXFORD INSTRUMENTS: SDET ACADEMY 

Oxford Instruments, a leading provider of high-tech analytical tools, needed a skilled technical tester to support one of their development teams. Their ideal candidate would be proficient in both manual testing and automated regression test development using C#. However, finding the right talent proved challenging in a competitive job market.

To bridge this gap, Oxford Instruments partnered with nFocus, leveraging their SDET Academy to source Junior SDETs with the necessary expertise. These specialists were instrumental in automating time-consuming manual tests, improving efficiency across the testing process. By implementing a new UI automation framework, they replaced an outdated system, seamlessly integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

The impact was immediate and measurable. Over 70 automated tests were developed, significantly reducing manual testing efforts and allowing QA testers to focus on creating new test cases.
